Work Based Learning

The Work Based Learning team deliver Apprenticeships and NVQ(National Vocational Qualification) programmes in Health Care, Children’s Care Learning & Development and Oral Health.  The  Apprenticeship programme consists of an NVQ, Key Skills, Technical Certificate and Employers Rights and Responsibilities. Currently there is an Apprenticeship at Level 2 and Advanced Apprenticeship. It is anticipated that in the near future there will be an Adult Apprenticeship. Adult Literacy and Numeracy is embedded in the above programmes.

All the team are extremely well qualified vocationally and each staff member holds a qualification according to their role, i.e. assessing, verifying, teaching/training and management.  Staff update themselves in clinical skills and all members have a Continuous Professional Development portfolio of experience.
